‍Role Description

The Vietnamese AI Language Specialist (Remote) role focuses on improving AI language models through high-quality language work in Vietnamese and English. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing, editing, and generating Vietnamese text, evaluating AI-generated outputs, and providing clear feedback to enhance accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance. The specialist may perform translation, annotation, and classification tasks, as well as assess the tone, style, and clarity of content across various domains. Collaboration with project managers and technical teams will be required to follow detailed guidelines, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality. This is a remote role, offering flexible work arrangements while contributing to impactful AI development.

‍Qualifications

• Strong Translation skills between Vietnamese and English, with attention to accuracy and nuance.
• Effective Communication abilities, including clear written feedback and collaboration with distributed teams.
• Experience in Language Services, such as localization, linguistic QA, or language data annotation.
• Interpreting skills or familiarity with spoken language nuances and context-sensitive meaning.
• Excellent Writing skills in Vietnamese (and preferably English), with a focus on clarity, style, and grammar.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Vietnamese and high proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow complex written guidelines.
• Comfort working with online tools, spreadsheets, and basic productivity software; familiarity with AI or NLP projects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation, Language Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
