A DAY IN THE LIFE:

Fully Remote | UK-basedAs the Program Manager, Translations & Localisation, you will focus on leading global translation and localisation programmes that enable Tandem Diabetes’ product development, regulatory submissions, commercialisation, and post‑market sustaining activities.You will manage complex, multi‑language initiatives across product labelling, software and UI, packaging, training materials, marketing, and digital content—ensuring all translations are accurate, timely, and compliant for global markets.In this role, you will act as a key cross‑functional facilitator, partnering closely with Global Labelling, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Clinical, Marketing, Digital, Manufacturing, and external Language Service Providers (LSPs). You will bring strong programme management discipline, a solid understanding of medical device quality systems, and the ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent workstreams within a highly regulated environment.Salary & BenefitsSalary: £67,000 (mid‑range)Work arrangement: Fully remoteBonus: Performance‑based bonusBenefits: Private healthcare and a comprehensive benefits package

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Program Leadership & Impact

  • Lead global translation and localisation programmes supporting product development, regulatory submissions, launches, and post‑market activities.
  • Deliver localisation across IFUs, packaging, software/UI, training, marketing, video, and digital content for international markets.
  • Define and manage programme scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple languages and regions.
  • Align translation workflows with product development, regulatory, and commercial timelines.
  • Build and maintain scalable translation assets, including glossaries, translation memories, and regional requirements.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central point of coordination across Global Labelling, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, R&D, Clinical, Marketing, Digital, Manufacturing, and external partners.
  • Partner with programme and technical teams to prioritise and deliver localisation workstreams.
  • Lead reviews, approvals, issue resolution, and escalation.
  • Provide clear progress updates, risks, and metrics to stakeholders.

Vendor, Quality & Delivery

  • Manage translation requests, vendor engagement, quoting, and delivery through approved Language Service Providers.
  • Monitor quality, timelines, and performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Ensure translated content meets QMS requirements and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Support verification, approvals, and change documentation.

Growth & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to improvements in localisation processes, tools, vendor governance, and content reuse.
  • Play a key role in scaling how localisation supports Tandem’s global growth.
  • This role offers strong visibility and progression into senior programme or global operations leadership roles.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of managing translation or localisation programmes in regulated industries (medical devices, life sciences, or similar).
  • Experience working in global, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Experience with project management tools and document management systems (e.g. PLM, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with translation management systems (TMS), content management systems, and labelling platforms.
  • Knowledge of FDA, MDR, ISO, GDP, and GMP requirements preferred.
  • Additional language capability is an advantage.

WHEN & WHERE YOU’LL WORK:

Remote: This position is fully remote with occasional on‑site visits based on business needs and open to candidates within the UK.  Equipment for the role will be provided and training will occur virtually.
