Job OverviewThe Translation Specialist facilitates the completion of quality translations of medical documents and other written materials as requested by departments at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO). The position is responsible for ensuring that translations are consistent with CHCO’s accepted language and terminology policies. The Specialist communicates regularly with requesting departments and outside translation vendors. The Specialist manages the queue of translation requests to ensure requests are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.

Under general supervision, the employee receives assignments and is expected to carry them through to completion with substantial independence. Work is reviewed for adherence to instructions, accuracy, completeness, and conformance to standard practice or precedent.
