Company Overview

Picture Production Company (PPC) is a leading international creative production agency, combining an award-winning creative team with world-class production facilities.

With offices in London and Los Angeles, we deliver high-impact cross-platform campaigns with a commitment to creativity, technical excellence, and meticulous attention to detail — always on brief, on budget, and on schedule.

Role Overview

The Senior Localisation Producer plays a key role within the localisation team, acting as a senior day-to-day point of contact on an international studio-based account.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the International Marketing Services (IMS) team, the role is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of localisation and post-production projects - ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

This role carries increased responsibility for project ownership, client management, and team support, including line management of junior team members where applicable. The Senior Localisation Producer is also expected to contribute to improving workflows, processes, and overall team efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading day-to-day client relationships, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service across all projects.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of localisation and post-production projects, from briefing through to final delivery.
  • Taking ownership of multiple and often complex projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Leading project planning, including the creation and management of schedules, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal departments (creative, post-production, audio, and operations) across London and Los Angeles to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
  • Overseeing resource allocation and scheduling, working with relevant teams to optimise workflows and capacity.
  • Monitoring and managing project budgets, including estimates, cost tracking, and final reconciliation.
  • Ensuring all deliverables meet client specifications, technical requirements, and creative standards, including final quality oversight where required.
  • Handling high-profile and embargoed content, ensuring strict adherence to client security protocols and internal procedures.
  • Identifying and proactively resolving project risks, issues, and client concerns.
  • Working closely with Account Directors and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment on client priorities and delivery expectations.
  • Supporting new business initiatives, proposals, and process improvements where required.
  • Driving continuous improvement of workflows, tools, and internal processes.
  • Line managing and mentoring Localisation Producers and/or Junior Localisation Producers, depending on account structure and team requirements.
  • Delegating and overseeing work across the team, ensuring projects are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the department, supporting overall operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in localisation, production, or account management within a film, entertainment, or creative agency environment.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi-market localisation or post-production projects.
  • Experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Strong client management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Advanced understanding of the end-to-end post-production process, including editing, graphics (GFX), and audio workflows.
  • Strong technical knowledge of delivery formats and specifications, including DCP (theatrical), broadcast, and digital platforms.
  • Experience working across international territories, particularly within the EMEA region.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Financial awareness, including experience managing project budgets and costs.
  • Proficient in Mac and PC operating systems, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with production, scheduling, or asset management systems (e.g. Smartsheet, Filemaker, or similar).
  • Additional European language skills are desirable.
