About us

LocalizationJobs.com is a niche job board built for the language services industry — connecting linguists, translators, LQA testers, and localization engineers with companies that need them. We have an active and growing community of 400+ freelance linguists (in just a week!) and a steady audience of localization professionals.

We're now expanding in two directions: growing our employer base on the platform, and taking on direct localization projects as a boutique LSP using our freelancer pool.

Your mission

You'll be our first commercial hire, responsible for driving revenue and growth across both sides of the business:

  • Platform sales: reach out to companies (game studios, tech firms, agencies) and convince them to post their open localization roles on LocalizationJobs — starting with free postings, converting to paid partnerships.
  • LSP project sourcing: identify and close localization project opportunities (translation, LQA, localization QA) across any industry, then coordinate delivery through our freelancer network.

What you'll be doing

  • Prospecting and cold outreach to HR teams, localization managers, and project owners
  • Building and managing a pipeline of employer and client leads
  • Owning the full sales cycle from first contact to signed agreement
  • Collaborating with the founder on pricing, proposals, and positioning
  • Representing LocalizationJobs at industry touchpoints (LinkedIn, communities, events)

What we're looking for

  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management — ideally in localization, language services, gaming, or a related field
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and building relationships from scratch
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, and at ease with a commission-based model
  • Genuine interest in the language services space (you don't need to be a linguist, but you need to understand the world)
  • Bonus: existing network in the localization or games industry

Compensation

This is a commission-only role — designed for someone who wants ownership over their earnings and the freedom to build something. Commission structure is competitive and transparent; details shared during the first conversation.
