Languages Required:

Proficiency in English and native, or C2 in one of the following languages:  Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Italian or Czech.

Ideal Candidate:

• Excellent English language skills
• Fluency in at least one of the above languages
• Ability to follow specific instructions
• Attention to detail
• Team orientated attitude
• Testing experience is a plus
• Experience in translation or audiovisual localization is a plus
• Technically proficient with PCs, gaming consoles and related hardware
• Computer literacy, specifically Windows, MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing across several gaming platforms and environments
• Working with a multitude of bug tracking tools
• Following specific guidelines when recording issues into databases
• Proofreading texts to ensure they were correctly translated from English
• Translating between English and target language when required
• Ensuring the game meets the industry’s standard
• Ensuring that no guideline-related localization bug, flaw or issue remains in the signed-off product
• Offering support pre and post launch
• Constantly seeking to acquire knowledge of new testing procedures and standards
