Junior Project Manager – Translation & Localization

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to manage translation and localization projects from client communication and quotation to production coordination and final delivery.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience within the Language Services Provider (LSP) industry and be comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of translation and localization projects from quotation to final delivery.
• Handle client communication, project requirements, timelines, and quality expectations.
• Coordinate linguists and resources based on expertise, availability, and deadlines.
• Oversee Translation, Editing, and Proofreading (TEP) workflows while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines, terminology, formatting, and quality standards.
• Perform final quality checks and coordinate revisions when required.
• Monitor workflow efficiency, project profitability, and operational KPIs.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within the Language Services Provider (LSP) or localization industry. (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience with Smartcat or similar CAT tools is required.
• Strong English communication and client-handling skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management abilities.
• Experience in vendor coordination and localization workflows preferred.
• Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Localization, or a related field is desirable.

Compensation

Compensation for this role is budgeted within a competitive range of USD 700 to USD 900, based on experience, skills, and market standards.

Work Conditions

• 100% Remote Position
• Working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EDT (including a 1-hour lunch break)
• Working days: Monday through Friday
• Flexibility to support urgent projects outside regular working hours or weekends when required
