A leading organization in Qatar is seeking an experienced Head of Translation to lead its Translation function and drive the delivery of high-quality Arabic and English language services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Translation Department, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of translation services.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of translators and language specialists.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance standards and translation best practices.
- Review and approve complex translations for accuracy, consistency, and cultural relevance.
- Coordinate translation priorities across multiple business units and stakeholders.
- Develop departmental processes, workflows, and performance metrics to improve efficiency.
- Ensure strict confidentiality when handling sensitive corporate documents.
- Drive continuous improvement through the adoption of translation technologies and terminology management.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic, English, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years of professional translation experience, including several years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Native or near-native proficiency in both Arabic and English, with exceptional written communication skills.
- Proven experience leading and developing translation teams.
- Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Experience within the banking, legal, government, or large corporate sector will be an advantage.
- Proficiency with Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools is desirable.
