Role Description

The Localization & Translation Project Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in New Delhi, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves managing end-to-end translation and localization projects, including scoping requirements, planning timelines, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners. The Project Manager will oversee document intake, track project progress, ensure quality standards, and support continuous improvement of workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating with customers, clarifying project needs, monitoring AI-generated outputs, organizing quality assurance reviews, and ensuring on-time delivery. The role also includes maintaining project documentation, identifying risks, and contributing feedback to improve product features and localization processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.
  • Proficiency in Translation and Localization concepts, with experience handling multilingual and complex document types.
  • Solid Project Management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, and coordination across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Quality Assurance skills to review outputs, ensure accuracy, and enforce standards in translated and localized content.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven or software-based translation tools and basic technical literacy in SaaS platforms.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in New Delhi, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in languages, translation, linguistics, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in the legal, government, or enterprise documentation space is an advantage.
