What You'll Own

Master the Core Content: Lead translation and localization of in-game functional texts (UI, system instructions, tutorials, gameplay prompts) and narrative content from Chinese to English.

Quality & Consistency Guardianship: Execute translation revision and Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) to ensure terminology consistency and zero linguistic errors across the entire project lifecycle.

Creative Collaboration: Partner tightly with developers and project managers to perform cultural adaptation without losing the original soul, and contribute to narrative discussions at the language-design level.

Who You Are

Identity & Language:

Chinese nationals with high level English proficiency OR English speakers with masterful command of Chinese.

Proven Track Record:

2+ years of professional game localization experience.

SLG (Strategy Game) expertise strongly preferred—candidates with rich SLG project portfolios move to the front of the line.

Demonstrated mastery in functional text localization—deep understanding of game UI logic, system mechanics, and player onboarding flows.

Skillset:

Deep grasp of Chinese culture and the ability to weave its elements naturally into English expression.

Proficiency with CAT tools (Trados, MemoQ, etc.) or established game localization pipelines.

Obsessive attention to detail and a relentless pursuit of player experience excellence.

Mindset:

Passionate gamer with specific interest in SLG or mobile gaming ecosystems.

Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; you thrive in remote, multicultural environments.

Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related fields is a plus.
