We're hiring Localization Project Manager (Translation & DTP Specialist)

About Role:
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Localization Project Manager with hands-on experience in the translation/localization industry.
This role is not a general Project Management role — we are specifically looking for candidates with experience managing translation projects, working with CAT tools, vendors/linguists, and multilingual formatted files.

Key Responsibilities
Localization Project Management
Manage translation and localization projects from kickoff to final delivery.
Coordinate with translators, proofreaders, and DTP specialists across multiple language pairs.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and according to client instructions.
Track workflows, deadlines, and vendor assignments professionally.
DTP & File Formatting
Handle multilingual formatting and Desktop Publishing (DTP) tasks.
Fix formatting/layout issues in:
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Microsoft Office files
Work confidently with RTL languages (especially Arabic formatting issues).
Quality Assurance
Perform QA checks before final delivery.
Ensure linguistic consistency, formatting accuracy, and client compliance.
Manage translation memories and terminology consistency.
Vendor Management & Recruitment
Source and onboard freelance translators and linguists.
Evaluate translator quality through testing/interviews.
Negotiate vendor rates while maintaining quality standards.
Build and maintain a reliable localization vendor database.
Client Communication
Communicate professionally with international clients.
Provide project updates and resolve project-related issues promptly.
Requirements
MUST-HAVE (Applications without these may not be considered)
Minimum 2 years of experience in:
Translation Project Management
Localization Operations
Translation Vendor Coordination
Previous experience in a translation/localization company or LSP.
Strong knowledge of CAT tools such as:
Smartcat
SDL Trados
MemoQ (plus)
Strong DTP/formatting skills using:
Adobe InDesign
Adobe Illustrator
Microsoft Office
Excellent English communication skills.
Preferred
Experience handling multilingual/RTL projects.
Experience managing translators and localization workflows.
Ability to troubleshoot file formatting issues independently.
Strong attention to detail and deadline commitment.
