Job Title: Localization Editor (Brazilian Portuguese)
Job Summary:
The Localization Editor (Brazilian Portuguese) is a core member of the Editing team, working closely with editors, translators, project coordinators, and cross-functional partners to ensure high-quality localized content across a wide range of products and platforms.
What You’ll Do
• Translate, edit, review, and proof a variety of materials across the organization
• Ensure accuracy in grammar, punctuation, spelling, tone, and style
• Maintain consistency in terminology and brand voice
• Adapt content for different audiences and formats
• Proofread both digital and print materials
• Collaborate with editors, translators, designers, and project coordinators
• Provide regular updates on project status and timelines
What You’ll Bring
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong experience translating, editing, or rewriting content in Brazilian Portuguese
• Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and strong English proficiency
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with localization tools such as RWS Trados
• Experience in entertainment, media, or gaming industries
• Passion for global entertainment brands and storytelling
