Your role at Hostinger

Lithuanian is not just another locale for Hostinger: it’s a market with real growth ambitions. As a Senior Lithuanian Localization Editor, you’ll be the company’s linguistic, cultural and brand authority for the market.

You’ll identify gaps in the Lithuanian customer experience, set priorities and drive improvements. You’ll also own AI’s linguistic performance for your locale by shaping style guides, glossaries and termbases that help produce accurate, on-brand content at scale.

Working independently, you’ll partner with senior stakeholders on market positioning, product readiness and competitive dynamics, while helping the wider team strengthen its data-driven localization approach.

Your day-to-day

Own the Lithuanian content quality end-to-end

• Translate, edit and post-edit technical and creative content from English to Lithuanian, going beyond error correction to refine AI-generated content for style, cultural nuance, and brand voice.
• Crosscheck translations across teams, setting and enforcing quality standards rather than just applying them.
• Maintain and evolve the Lithuanian style guide, glossary, and termbase as living documents that train and steer AI models.
  
  

Drive SEO and market performance

• Independently be able to perform SEO analysis (content audits, keyword research, competitor benchmarking) using GA, GSC or Accuranker to implement optimizations that move the needle on local market visibility.
• Optimize content for conversions, not just rankings: apply deep knowledge of Lithuanian user behavior and UX writing principles to every asset you touch.
• Proactively monitor industry trends in digital marketing, UX, and SEO for the Lithuanian market and translate them into concrete improvements.
  
  

Act as the locale’s strategic voice

• Serve as a key partner to cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, UX ) consulting on communication strategy, product readiness and market entry decisions for Lithuania.
• Identify and scope new growth opportunities by analyzing market data, competitor performance, and user feedback, then translate findings into actionable proposals.
• Actively challenge and contribute to OKR and strategic planning processes, bringing localization intelligence into the room, not just executing what’s handed down.
  
  

Lead AI performance and workflow innovation

• Take full ownership of AI linguistic performance for Lithuanian: analyze model output, identify training gaps, and implement feedback loops that improve quality at scale.
• Apply advanced prompt engineering to get the best out of AI platforms (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) for localization tasks.
• Proactively reinvent workflows moving beyond existing SOPs to define new, scalable approaches and set a higher standard for the team.
  
  

Mentor and elevate the team

• Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues on advanced data-driven localization strategies, AI tools, and business acumen.
• Act as a force multiplier: identify systemic workflow and quality issues, delegate solutions, and empower others to implement them.
  
  

Your expertise and experience

• 4+ years of experience in localization, with a demonstrable track record at senior level: strategic ownership, not just task delivery.
• Native Lithuanian proficiency; C1+ written and spoken English.
• Deep expertise across the full spectrum of localization: creative campaigns, long-form SEO content, technically precise UI/UX copy.
• Proven advanced AI post-editing (MTPE) skills: you don’t only fix mistakes, but you enhance AI output for style, nuance and brand voice.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and building style guides or glossaries to train AI models for your locale.
• Proficient in SEO analysis tools: Ahrefs, SurferSEO, Google Analytics, Accuranker.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with Jira or equivalent agile tools.
• Business-first mindset: you connect localization work to business outcomes and can build a case for your proposals.
  
  

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with PPC, email marketing analytics or Tableau for cross-channel performance analysis.
• Background in or active knowledge of the Lithuanian hosting, SaaS or digital product market.
• Experience working with or alongside senior marketing stakeholder in a locale strategy capacity.

Gross salary starting from 3000 EUR/month, with the exact compensation depending on your skills and experience.We're always looking for experienced talent to raise the bar.
