Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented and passionate Junior Localization Operations Specialist to join our team and work on titles in our multiple franchises! The person in this position will be responsible for administrating and managing work of our Localization team. Daily responsibilities
Reference Materials Preparation
- Compile scene reference lists based on scripts .
- Create and maintain structured Google Docs for content collection.
- Coordinate with design teams to gather required video recordings.
- Organize and store files on internal drives
- Prepare visual materials (screenshots, images) for tertiary/background characters based on video references and internal databases
Line Count & Reporting
- Prepare line counts based on content exports
- Utilize reporting tools to generate accurate data for localization planning.
Vendor Communication & Coordination
- Send localization requests to vendors using established templates.
- Support Project Leads (LPMs) by handling day-to-day communication, including extensions and follow-ups.
- Prepare and send Voice-Over (VO) recording orders to vendors.
Invoice & PO Processing
- Verify translation and VO invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Process first-stage approvals in the invoicing systems.
Localization Imports & Quality Checks
- Review received translation exports for completeness
- Import verified files into the game engine
- Perform checks and import received audio files for VO.
- Ensure proper synchronization between localization databases and the game engine (sanity checks)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in localization
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly with Excel
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the gaming industry and passion for games.
