We are currently seeking highly skilled Hindi Transcriber/Annotator with proven experience in providing accurate transcription and annotations for various subtitles to join our global network.

Please make sure your CV shows us that you meet the following basic requirements:
Language and Tool Familiarity
- Native fluency (must be a native speaker) in Hindi with an impeccable grasp of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Experience with subtitling softwares (e.g., Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, EZTitles, or CaptionHub, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to spot a single misplaced comma or a 0.5-second timing drift.
- Deep understanding of the target language culture, idioms, and social context to ensure the transcription is done by meaning base.
Transcription and Annotation Experience
- Experienced in creating time-aligned, verbatim transcriptions with correct punctuation and capitalization.
- Familiarity with subtitling technical requirements (e.g. line breaks, time-in/out, etc.) and can specify correct, exact time segments for speakers speaking in an overlapping manner.
- Familiarity with various annotation requirements (including handling non-speech elements) and can create annotations/tags following detailed instructions with minimal training.
- Familiarity with data annotation file formats, specifically DFXP.
Quality Control and Research Skills
- Proficient in verifying the spelling of proper nouns, historical dates, and specialized terminology via independent research.
- Ability to perform detailed reviews to ensure minimal to no errors.
- Ability to maintain strict consistency across large-scale projects by following evolving client style guides.
