espell translation and localization Ltd. is looking for freelance creative writers/linguists with native level proficiency in French and full working proficiency in English to work on the in-platform contents of a global streaming service provider. For this potential cooperation we are looking for applicants who are open to a long-term cooperation with us and who have the capacity to cover the required volumes of work.

Content type

Short-form, in-platform content (e.g. synopses, informational copies) for films and TV series/episodes

Tasks

For copywriters

• transcreating copies from English into French

For copy editors

• editing French copies transcreated from English

Timeline

• the cooperation starts the second part of April and requires max. 4 hours/day capacity
• the project runs till mid-July with a potential to turn into a long-term cooperation

Tools and training

• all necessary tools, training & support will be provided

Profile

• freelance writers/linguists with native level of proficiency in French
• flawless spelling, grammar and style
• full working proficiency in English
• copywriting/editing skills
• experience in writing non-promotional short-form and/or long-form content
• previous experience with entertainment and streaming is a plus
• passion for films
• strong time management and cooperation skills, attention to detail
• experience in collaborating with translation/communication agencies
• bachelor’s degree is required

Selection process

• screening and shortlisting candidates based on their CVs
• interview with espell’s business partner managers
• test assignment
