Role details
As a Localization and Content Specialist, your role entails:
Localizations:
- Work with localizations to ensure their unity, conciseness, and accuracy by using software development tools and frameworks.
- Translate from English to Finnish and vice versa.
- Manage our translation processes that include German, Swedish, French, and Dutch translations.
Product content:
- Create new product-related content by interviewing experts and learning about new functionalities in development.
- Write user instructions for our ever-developing software modules.
- Create and publish internal and external product-related content.
Project management:
- Maintain work processes related to product content and localizations.
- Support other departments by processing and sharing information.
What success looks like in this role
In the first months, you will:
- Start following the product content and localization processes to contribute to our software releases.
- Publish valuable information to our internal and external target groups.
- Improve visibility into new software features.
Longer term, you’ll be measured by:
- Providing accurate and valuable information to different stakeholders.
- Improve customer satisfaction by producing quality content.
- Improve software usability by providing informative localizations.
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills (both verbally and in writing) with a native-like fluency in English and Finnish.
- Ability to ensure that the company maintains a unified voice and communicates consistently.
- Experience in content and localization management, and writing user instructions.
- Ability to acquire product-related knowledge by consulting experts, such as Developers, UX designers, and Product Managers.
- Ability to work with topic-based content management system, such as MadCap Flare.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience of highly technical products.
- Experience in software development.
- Experience of single-sourcing and content reuse.
- Experience with version control using Git and DevOps.

Practical information
- Salary: A monthly salary of 3300-3800€ depending on your skills and experience.
