Robert Half is recruiting for a non-profit organization based in Ontario. The French/Spanish Translator will be supporting remotely, for a freelance project. The Translator will assist with converting an operational manual from English into French and Spanish. This opportunity is suited to someone who can produce accurate, well-structured content while maintaining consistency across high-volume documentation. The successful candidate will help ensure translated manuals are clear, usable, and aligned with the intent of the original source material.

Please note, we are recruiting for both a French Translator and Spanish Translator.

Responsibilities:

• Translate the operating manual from English into French and/or English to Spanish while preserving meaning, tone, and instructional clarity.
• Review source documents carefully to identify terminology, formatting, and context requirements before beginning translation work.
• Work through a substantial documentation volume efficiently, managing assigned hours and deliverables within the scope of the contract.
• Perform quality checks on translated materials to confirm accuracy, consistency, and completeness before submission.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience translating written materials between English to French, and/or English to Spanish.
• Familiarity with quality assurance practices for reviewing and validating translated documents.
• Ability to coordinate with subject matter experts to resolve terminology or content questions.
• Comfortable managing part-time remote work independently while meeting agreed timelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across large-volume translation assignments.

Compensation: As this is a one off project, we are requesting quotes from qualified freelancer.
