Role Description

This is a freelance, on-site role for a Medical Interpreter, located in Dhaka. The Medical Interpreter will facilitate communication between healthcare professionals and patients by providing accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation and translation services. Key tasks will include interpreting medical terminology, ensuring essential information is communicated in a timely and efficient manner, and managing the complexities of  consecutive interpretation as required in medical contexts.

Strong knowledge and background of Life Sciences and / or Medical field REQUIRED.

- May 11-15th 9:30 AM - 18:00 PM - NINS (National Institute of Neuro Sciences & Hospital) address: Shahid Shahabuddin Rd, Dhaka

- May 17-21st 9:30 AM - 18:00 PM - DMCH (Dhaka Medical College Hospital) address: Secretariat Road, Shahbagh, Dhaka

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Interpretation and Translation
• Strong skills in Interpreting, including the ability to perform Simultaneous Interpretation
• Solid understanding of Medical Terminology
• Exceptional listening, memory, and communication abilities
• Bilingual or multilingual fluency with experience in medical settings
• Certification in medical interpreting or translation is a plus
• Experience working in healthcare environments is preferred
