Our Company announces Job Vacancy - Senior Translator, Tenders and Translation Office.

Job Objective / Summary:

Perform translation assignments in both Arabic and English languages, prepare and draft official letters and correspondence, while ensuring linguistic accuracy and proper creative writing in both languages.

Job Responsibilities:

1- Translate different documents from Arabic into English and vice versa accurately and professionally, including:

  • Financial statements, reports and other engagement deliverables
  • Webpages
  • Circulars and internal announcements
  • Posts on social media and professional networks
  • Any other documents based on the business requirements

2- Prepare and draft official letters, reports, and correspondence in both Arabic and English languages with a clear, professional, and linguistically accurate style.

3- Ensure the use of technical and professional-specific terminology related to accounting, finance, and economic areas in line with local regulations and international professional standards.

4- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned to them by the direct manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in translation or English language

Professional Certificates:

Professional certificates in translation is an extra advantage.

Experience:

10–12 years of experience in the field of translation, preferably minimum 5 years in global audit firms.

Technical Skills

  1. Translation of documents based on form and substance principle
  2. Understanding and grasping the text to be translated as well as specialized terminology in various fields.
  3. Understanding and grasping terminology and glossary used in different disciplines
  4. Proficiency in creative writing.
  5. Analytical and deductive thinking skills.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  7. Proficiency in using CAT tools.
  8. Keeping up with professional developments in the field of translation.

Administrative Skills

  1. Accuracy, detail-oriented, and observance of quality standards.
  2. Planning and time management skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills, including managing documents and official correspondence.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Integrity and professional responsibility.
  6. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to work requirements.
