About the role
We are hiring a Part-Time Senior Email Copywriter who can turn words into cash.
This role sits at the front of the production line for one of the fastest-growing direct-response email agencies in the US.
Our client has cracked the code on retention revenue for DTC supplement and wellness brands. Their copy doesn't just get opened. It gets felt. And it drives the kind of email revenue that shows up in the bank account like clockwork.
They need a part-time copywriter who can research an audience, find the angle that lands, and write copy that sounds like the brand talking one-to-one with their customer.
Not templated copy. Not house style copy that sounds the same across every client.
Copy that makes each brand feel like themselves while moving subscribers to act.
This is not content writing. This is direct-response copywriting that drives retention revenue.
What You'll Actually Do
- Own the email and SMS copy for 5 to 7 client accounts from blank page to ship-ready.
- Research each client's audience deeply before you write. Dig into the offer, the reviews, the ideal customer so your copy speaks to what they actually feel.
- Decide the hook and concept off the client's offer and customer, not a spelled-out brief.
- Write campaigns and flows. Roughly 60% campaigns, 40% flows. No landing pages.
- Switch voice per brand as you move through your accounts. Each client sounds like themselves, never like a house style.
- Run an explicit Claude workflow to draft, vary, and sharpen copy at high standard and pace.
- Apply feedback fast. Take notes from leadership, revise quickly, come back stronger.
- Get ship-ready copy to the designer on schedule so the pod keeps moving.
- Own copy quality and performance. Once you earn trust, ship routine work without sign-off.
What We Are Looking For
- Direct-response copywriting experience for US DTC brands. This is key.
- You move US readers to act with copy that reads native to the American market.
- Strong written English and the right consumer vocabulary, not just clean prose.
- Audience and offer research skills. You can pull apart an ideal customer and find the angle that lands.
- Email and SMS craft for ecommerce. Campaigns and flows for supplement and wellness brands.
- Brand-voice range. You can hold several distinct voices at once and switch between them cleanly.
- Claude experience running stable workflows to produce high-quality copy at volume.
- You research the reader before you write because copy has to match the client's ideal customer first.
- Huge plus if you have supplement or wellness brand experience.
Who This Is NOT For
- If you need a detailed brief for every piece, this is not for you.
- If you write in one voice across all brands, this is not for you.
- If you need multiple revisions to nail the client's audience, this is not for you.
- If you go quiet when deadlines get tight, this is not for you.
- If you think copy is just about clean writing and not about moving people to act, this is not for you.
Who This IS For
- This is for you if you can research an audience and bring the angle from a light brief.
- This is for you if you can switch cleanly between brand voices without losing what makes each one distinct.
- This is for you if you revise to the note fast because you know the whole pod is waiting on your copy.
- This is for you if you want to write copy that drives real retention revenue for growing DTC brands.
- This is for you if you communicate fast and stay visible because you know you're the front of the production line.
- This is for you if you want direct mentorship from founders who have built their business on copy that converts.
Why This Role Is Different
- Real creative ownership. You won't be handed a fully spelled-out brief. You'll research the audience, find the angle, and shape the copy yourself.
- Direct feedback that makes you better. You'll work closely with the senior copywriter and founder, getting practical feedback to sharpen your craft.
- AI is part of the workflow. You'll use Claude as part of the team's established copy process to produce high-quality work efficiently.
- Investment in your development. The founder invests in professional training and development because stronger skills directly drive better client results.
- Room to grow. You'll start part-time, with a clear path to a full-time role and greater ownership as you prove your craft.
