What you’ll achieve

As the Documentation & Localization Specialist, you will support the successful release of DIIT products by providing high quality, regulatory compliant user documentation and GUI texts as well as their translations for our markets. You’ll bridge the gap between the complex world of product development and healthcare professionals across the globe who use our products on a daily base to treat millions of people. By embracing modern technologies and putting the need to understand our products at the center of your attention, you’ll create value for our customers, thus making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Create various forms of user documentation in both, German and English, for Dedalus Healthcare products in close collaboration with professionals (developers, testers, product managers, architects...)
  • Coordinate the translation of GUI texts, release notes, and user documentation (deliverables) from German and English into various languages
  • Take care of quality assurance or proofreading of deliverables in German, English, and in other languages if the respective language skills are available
  • Manage documentation and localization projects following product release cycles
  • Manage terminology

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements

  • Ability to continuously learn new technologies, including the ability to communicate technological principles and information to the target audience
  • Interest in working with AI and automation tools
  • German and English at C2 level
  • An open and solution-oriented mind
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work highly organized and independently
  • Degree in translation, journalism, technical communication or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in technical writing and localization, preferably in the software (healthcare) industry



Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with XML-based documentation tools
  • Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch or Norwegian language skills
  • Interest in programming
