The Netflix Technology Services team (N-Tech) is dedicated to enhancing the productivity of

Netflix employees by offering seamless technology experiences. Our goal is to provide

exceptional technology support to our diverse and globally distributed workforce. To

accomplish our goal, we are searching for a versatile and experienced Localization Specialist to

support N-Tech’s Technology Help Center and the Product team’s other internally developed

tooling as they localize content into Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish.

The Role

As the LATAM Localization Specialist for the Netflix Technology Help Center, you’ll perform

full-cycle translation workflows to localize English-language content into Spanish and

Portuguese. You’ll QA translated content and facilitate regular feedback meetings with vendor

linguists to ensure content reflects Netflix voice, tone, and style guides.

You’ll reference and design language- and region-specific best practices, glossaries, and style

guides to drive content efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.

As a liaison for the Technology Help Center and Product team, you’ll provide consultative

localization support for teams migrating content to the Netflix Knowledge Platform. In

partnership with the Content Strategist, you’ll support recurring localization projects for:

● Resource library migrations (internal and M&As)

● Content audits

This role reports to our Content Strategy Manager. You’ll partner with our Japan-based

localization specialist, who owns localization workflows for Japanese and Korean content.

Responsibilities

● Lead the initial LATAM localization workflow for Technology Help Center articles, user

interface (UI), and metadata into Brazilian Portuguese and Latin American Spanish.

● Develop reproducible localization workflows for LATAM, advising on their initial

migrations and supporting as needed.

● Maintain individual language libraries of key terms and phrases that you distribute to

localization vendors.

● Assess regional content’s potential for universal publication, and migrate relevant

articles onto the Help Center in both the local language and English.

● Cultivate localization vendor relationships in partnership with your manager.

● Continually assess suitability of machine translation for romance languages.

● Design maintenance strategy for localized content.

● Conduct quality assurance (QA) on final deliverables from vendors.
