Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Translator role based in Athens/Santorini/Corfu. The Chinese-Greek Translator will be responsible for accurately translating written and verbal communication between Chinese and Greek. Key tasks include translating official documents, facilitating communication at meetings or site discussions, ensuring cultural sensitivity in translations, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure clear and accurate messaging for all stakeholders. The Translator will be an essential bridge between teams, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding in all business interactions.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Chinese and Greek languages, with strong translation and interpretation skills in both directions.
• Demonstrated ability to understand cultural nuances and adapt translations accordingly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce accurate and professional language translations.
• Basic familiarity with technical or construction-related terminology is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work on-site in Athens/Santorini/Corfu and collaborate effectively with multinational teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in translation or interpretation roles will be considered an advantage.
