Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a 游戏译员 (Chinese-French Game Translator) at GienTech. The translator will be responsible for translating in-game content, manuals, and dialogue from Chinese to French with cultural and linguistic accuracy. Daily tasks include collaborating with localization teams, maintaining consistent terminology, researching in-game context, proofreading for quality assurance, and meeting translation deadlines.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Chinese and French, HSK5 or above；
• Experience in game translation, localization, and cultural content adaptation
• Familiarity with gaming terminology, trends, and industry standards
• Proficient in the use of CAT tools (e.g., trados，memoq...)
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment
• Knowledge of gaming preferences, mechanics, and cultures associated with Chinese and French audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field is advantageous
