We are looking for a Brazilian Portuguese Language Lead / Localization QA Specialist to support high-impact localization projects.

In this role, you will own the quality of translated content (English → Brazilian Portuguese) and ensure it meets brand, tone, and market expectations. You will work closely with marketing teams and localization vendors to deliver accurate, consistent, and high-quality content at scale.

This is not just a translation role — you will act as a quality owner and strategic partner, helping improve processes, maintain linguistic assets, and ensure every piece of content feels natural for the Brazilian market.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate translations (EN → PT-BR) to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
• Provide clear feedback to localization vendors to improve output quality
• Collaborate with marketing and internal stakeholders to align tone and messaging
• Perform Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) on selected projects
• Manage and maintain glossaries, style guides, and linguistic assets
• Support urgent translation needs and language-related questions
• Track quality metrics and identify areas for improvement
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and meet expectations
• Help optimize localization workflows and processes

✅ Must-Have Requirements

• Great level Br Port. + strong English (written and spoken)
• 5+ years of experience in localization, translation, or related field
• 3+ years in a Reviewer, Language Lead, or Linguistic QA role
• Experience working with CAT tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS)
• Strong knowledge of Translation Memory (TM) and localization workflows
• Experience with Machine Translation (MT) and post-editing processes
• Proven experience performing LQA and managing quality standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
