About the Role:Your Mission: Happy Clients & Strategic Growth
As our Founding Account Management Lead, your mission is twofold: keeping our current accounts thriving, expanding current accounts and turning new inbound leads into long-term partners.
This is a "founding" role, meaning you will initially be hands-on with projects and accounts, but as the company grows, you will build and lead the Account Management team and streamline account management processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Account Strategy & Growth
- Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.- Identifying opportunities for strategic expansion within existing client portfolios.
- Turning leads into active, loyal clients.
2. Operational Excellence
- Streamlining and documenting account management SOPs and best practices.- Collaborating with dedicated Project Managers (PMs) to ensure seamless delivery.
- Sharing account success and satisfaction KPIs with the Head of PM to align quality and service.
3. Leadership
- Reporting directly to the CEO on account health and revenue growth.- Designing the roadmap for the AM team and hiring/mentoring future team members.
Who We're Looking For:
- Senior Localization Professionals: You have at least 10 years of professional experience, specifically with 5-8 years dedicated to localization account management.
- Team Leaders: You have 3-5 years of experience leading teams.
- Commercial Mindset: You don't just "manage" accounts; you see the strategic big picture and know how to grow them.
- Technical Fluency: You understand end-to-end localization project management and are current with the latest localization tech evolutions.
- Relationship Builders: You build long-term commercial relationships.
Skills & Tools:
- Communication: Professional working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Business Management: Expert-level use of localization business management systems (e.g., Protemos).
- Translation Technology: Deep knowledge of modern TMS platforms, such as Crowdin, Phrase, and Smartling.
- Collaboration: High comfort level with collaborative workspaces, like Notion.
- Sales & Pipeline: Knowledge in CMS and CRM/pipeline software (e.g., Pipedrive) to manage growth and leads.
